The Iran Israel war LIVE updates continue as Israel and the United States struck a key Iranian building involved in selecting a new supreme leader.
The war in West Asia is intensifying. More than 780 people have been killed in Iran since the US and Israel began strikes on February 27, 2026, the Iranian Red Crescent said. The latest toll comes even as fresh wave attacks were launched by Iran and Israel on Tuesday (March 3, 2026), including Israeli bombardment on Lebanon and a drone attack on the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh.
The U.N. nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) said there was some recent damage to entrance buildings at Iran’s underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP). The agency added that it expected no radiological consequence or additional impact detected at the FEP itself. ALSO READ: Israel, the U.S. and a war to build a unipolar West Asia
